PJ de Villiers talks about the lifelines you see and the art you love

Summary Text:
PJ de Villiers makes pen and ink monochromatic studies of classical masterpieces - as he draws lifelines uniquely from his heart to present images as a parallel retrospective of his life.

Wednesday, June 4th, at 6:00 PM JDK Design, 47 Maple St., Burlington, Vt.

Images. They transcend time and our inner space. The memory markers they create in us, built on the cornerstones of context and idiosyncratic chaos, never cease to amaze. The perceptual intersections are what make the art world so very compelling; even with historical context and heavy post-rationalization of classics, we still build our own unique little bridges in time to who we are and how we see from what once was.

PJ de Villiers makes pen and ink monochromatic studies of classical masterpieces - as he draws lifelines uniquely from his heart to present images as a parallel retrospective of his life.

Please join PJ for our latest First Thursday experience (which is actually Wednesday because summer kickball season has begun), to hear his thoughts on his newest work, his process and perspective, and to have a dialog with PJ and others about the lifelines you see and the art you love.

Please join us and bring a piece of artwork that has been an inspiration to you.
